As soon as you walk in, you’ll be warmly greeted at the front by one of our staff members, who will check you in for class.
We’ll start by circling up and have everyone introduce themselves. We’ll also ask a fun question to help break the ice and get everyone comfortable!
Next, we’ll do a brief warm-up to loosen up our muscles and get our bodies and minds into dance mode. Then, we’ll jump into the steps and techniques for the day. For larger classes, we may split into smaller groups so everyone can learn at the appropriate level and pace.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays conclude with a short social dance party! This is a fun, low-pressure opportunity to practice what you’ve learned, meet your classmates, and connect with our instructors.
Remember, learning a new skill takes patience and a willingness to make mistakes—and that’s completely okay! We’ll be with you every step of the way. Our wonderful community of students is learning, growing, and having fun right alongside you!

No partner necessary! We rotate partners so that everyone gets a chance to dance with everybody!

In our group classes, we welcome students of all levels—from complete first-timers to experienced dancers!
We especially love welcoming first-time dancers to Rhythm N’ Flo. We offer beginner-friendly classes designed to help you feel comfortable, build a strong foundation, and have fun from day one.
If you have prior dance experience, great! Once you arrive at the studio, one of our instructors will ask you a few questions and do a quick evaluation to help place you in the appropriate class level.
Our goal is to make sure you’re challenged, comfortable, and able to enjoy your dance experience—no matter where you’re starting from!

Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely and feel good while dancing. There’s no need for anything fancy—just come ready to move!
Sneakers or other comfortable, close-toed shoes that fit securely generally work well. Avoid sandals, flip-flops, or other loose-fitting shoes, as they can easily slide out of place or fall off while you’re dancing.
If you’re interested in purchasing dance shoes, our instructors are always happy to recommend stores and brands to help you find the right pair!
